For Black history Month, Year 6 stepped back in time to explore the life of Adrian of Canterbury who played a pivotal role in the English Church during Anglo Saxon times. Born in North Africa, he traveled to Italy before making the journey to Canterbury, England. During his time in Canterbury, he became an influential teacher and scholar, helping shape the theology and rites of worship in the English Church.
Year 6 also looked into the life and work of Stormzy. We used tone to complete some portraits of Stormzy and even had a go at writing our own Stormzy inspired raps/poetry!
